An Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient, Cho has collaborated with renowned artists such as Richard Stoltzman, Andras Schiff, Anton Kuerti, and Mitsuko Uchida, and has performed the complete cycle of Beethoven’s violin sonatas with pianist Mia Chung. Cho joins fellow Juilliard faculty Hsin-Yun Huang, who will make her bow as a Center Distinguished Faculty in a program featuring Schumann’s Sonata in A minor for Violin and Piano, Kodaly’s Serenade for Two Violins and Viola, and Chausson’s Concerto for Violin, Piano and String Quartet.

Get your bicycle and your best costume ready and join Bike Walk Macon on Wednesday, November 28th for Macon Bike Party's Pajamboree Ride! Break out your PJ's (not the birthday suit kind -- it'll be cold, people), onesies, and your favorite blankie or stuffed animal and get ready for Macon's coziest ride.

Macon Bike Party is a free, slow-paced community bicycle ride for people of all ages and skills levels. Come enjoy our great city and its neighborhoods from a unique perspective.

//THE DETAILS//

Show up at 6 pm at the Bike Walk Macon office at 338 Poplar St. Wheels hit the street at 6:30 pm. Remember to bring a helmet. We'll have FREE Bike Walk Macon lights for everyone. We'll also be stopping at Z Beans to enjoy a free cup of hot chocolate, apple cider, or coffee. A map of the complete route will be available on this page 24 hours before the ride. Riders are welcome to join or depart the group at any point.

This month we're adding a costume contest with super cool prizes, so be sure to dress up!

After they dry, they will be fired in the kiln and become a beautiful keepsake ornament that will last for decades. They make great gifts for grandparents, too! Ages 5-12. $25 includes all materials for up to 6 ornaments. Ornaments will be fired and ready for pickup 2 weeks after class. December 1, 2:00-4:00 pm.

It's time to deck the halls and don your most festive holiday gear. Join Bike Walk Macon on Sunday, December 2nd to spread some holiday cheer in the Annual Main Street Macon Christmas Parade!

Riders of all ages and levels are invited to join us at the Bike Walk Macon office (338 Poplar St) at 2:00 PM. We'll have specially-outfitted Christmas trees bikes and tinsel to decorate your wheels. We'll also have snacks and hot chocolate to enjoy while we decorate! Afterwards, ride with us in the parade, which starts at 4pm at the Macon Terminal Station. The parade will end by 6pm.

Don't have a bike? There are two nearby Macon Bike Share stations at Tubman Museum and Washington Memorial Library.

This event is free and no registration is required. Please remember to wear your helmet!

Recitalist and chamber musician Catherine Cho makes her Fabian debut. An Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient, Cho has collaborated with renowned artists such as Richard Stoltzman, Andras Schiff, Anton Kuerti, and Mitsuko Uchida, and has performed the complete cycle of Beethoven’s violin sonatas with pianist Mia Chung. Cho joins fellow Juilliard faculty Hsin-Yun Huang, who will make her bow as a Center Distinguished Faculty in a program featuring Schumann’s Sonata in A minor for Violin and Piano, Kodaly’s Serenade for Two Violins and Viola, and Chausson’s Concerto for Violin, Piano and String Quartet.

Get your bicycle and your best costume ready and join Bike Walk Macon on Wednesday, November 28th for Macon Bike Party's Pajamboree Ride! Break out your PJ's (not the birthday suit kind -- it'll be cold, people), onesies, and your favorite blankie or stuffed animal and get ready for Macon's coziest ride.

Macon Bike Party is a free, slow-paced community bicycle ride for people of all ages and skills levels. Come enjoy our great city and its neighborhoods from a unique perspective.

//THE DETAILS//

Show up at 6 pm at the Bike Walk Macon office at 338 Poplar St. Wheels hit the street at 6:30 pm. Remember to bring a helmet. We'll have FREE Bike Walk Macon lights for everyone. We'll also be stopping at Z Beans to enjoy a free cup of hot chocolate, apple cider, or coffee. A map of the complete route will be available on this page 24 hours before the ride. Riders are welcome to join or depart the group at any point.

This month we're adding a costume contest with super cool prizes, so be sure to dress up!

Kids will create their own Christmas ornaments out of clay and decorate them with ceramic glaze. They can choose from a variety of shapes and colors, and add their own creative touches. After they dry, they will be fired in the kiln and become a beautiful keepsake ornament that will last for decades. They make great gifts for grandparents, too! Ages 5-12. $25 includes all materials for up to 6 ornaments. Ornaments will be fired and ready for pickup 2 weeks after class. December 1, 2:00-4:00 pm.

It's time to deck the halls and don your most festive holiday gear. Join Bike Walk Macon on Sunday, December 2nd to spread some holiday cheer in the Annual Main Street Macon Christmas Parade!

Riders of all ages and levels are invited to join us at the Bike Walk Macon office (338 Poplar St) at 2:00 PM. We'll have specially-outfitted Christmas trees bikes and tinsel to decorate your wheels. We'll also have snacks and hot chocolate to enjoy while we decorate! Afterwards, ride with us in the parade, which starts at 4pm at the Macon Terminal Station. The parade will end by 6pm.

Don't have a bike? There are two nearby Macon Bike Share stations at Tubman Museum and Washington Memorial Library.

This event is free and no registration is required. Please remember to wear your helmet!
