Call for Art: Plein Air
Macon Arts Alliance is looking for artists to venture out into Macon to paint from March 15 – 29, 2024. The festival celebrates the Cherry Blossom Festival and will include an exhibit at Macon Arts Gallery from April 5 – 26, 2024.
To participate, please email examples of your work and a brief bio to Sierra Bush, curator@maconarts.org. Selected artists will provide their own canvas and materials.
Specifications:
- All paintings cannot exceed 11” x 14”. Canvases will need to be approved by MAA before painting can begin.
- Up to 3 works can be submitted into the April exhibition
- All finished works must be wired for hanging
Important Dates:
-Application Deadline: March 1, 2024
-Finished works dropped off to MAA: March 29th or April 2nd, 10AM-5PM
-Exhibition on view: April 5 – 26, 2024
-Opening reception: April 5th, 4-7PM
