478 creatives

Founded in 2021, 478 Creatives is a vibrant community of Middle Georgia’s diverse creatives, dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where imagination knows no bounds. Our mission is to cultivate a thriving ecosystem where creativity flourishes, connections deepen, and artistic endeavors thrive.

We believe in the power of creativity to transcend boundaries and unite individuals from all walks of life. Welcoming creatives of every age, background, and skill level, we are committed to providing a supportive space for exploration, growth, and collaboration.

Through engaging workshops, social meet-ups, and educational events, we empower our members to expand their horizons, hone their craft, and forge meaningful connections within the local creative community. From insightful discussions on topics like bookkeeping and social media to captivating showcases featuring both local talents and visiting artists such as Cedric Smith, Ammie Y’all, Charo Oquet, and Eric O’Dell, our events inspire, educate, and entertain.

We are deeply grateful to our dedicated members, generous partners, and visionary sponsors for their unwavering support and contributions to our success. With the generous funding from the Knight Foundation and the invaluable support of the Macon Arts Alliance as our fiscal sponsor and primary funder, we are able to continue our mission of nurturing creativity and fostering connections in Middle Georgia.

Join us on Facebook to stay updated on our upcoming events, or sign up for our artist list to become a part of our growing community. Together, let’s unleash the full potential of creativity and build a brighter future for Middle Georgia’s creative landscape.

Organizers of 478 Creatives are Erin Hawkins and Cara Heard.
