The Gallery at Macon Arts Alliance is seeking applications for:
One City Arts Festival Juried Plein Air Event
October 13-20 2017
As a part of Macon’s 2017 One City Art Festival, Macon Arts Alliance is looking for artists to venture out into Macon’s many beautiful parks to paint during the week of October 13th– 19th and culminate in a reception and exhibition at The Gallery at Macon Arts Alliance on October 22nd, 3-6pm
Important Dates and info:
* Deadline to apply: August 25, 2017
* Notification of Acceptance: September 15, 2017
* Exhibition Reception: October 22, 2017
*Application Fee $25.00 for three images.
*Payments can be made by sending a check, stopping by with cash, or calling the gallery with a cc#.
*Accepted Artists will receive 3 stamped panels, 9” x 12” and 11″ x 14″ or 12” x 16”
*Artists pick up panels on October 12 & 13th– and return with paintings on October 19th for a reception of an exhibition of work at the gallery on October 22nd.
*Artists have 6-7 days during the One City Arts Festival to create two-three plein air paintings in Macon parks and return to them the gallery.
*Artists are assigned a park(s) when panels are picked up. Work will be on display from October 20th thru November 30 2017.
*All work must be for sale with a 40/60 gallery split
